DO YOU NEED A BRUSH?

You can use any brushes you may already have at home or add an Economy Shader Brush or a quality Magnificent Mop Brush for a few dollars more for the perfect coat application for ceramic glazes. (We didn’t want to pre-package brushes in your kit and up the price of the kit if you already have some you can use.)

ABOUT OUR POTTERY

All our Paint at Home Pottery is of the highest quality, unglazed cone 04 bisque. It has been cleaned and fired once and is ready for you to paint with our high quality ceramic glazes. Do not use any other paints, pens, pencils, markers or other materials other than what you have purchased through us to decorate your pottery or we cannot fire it for you. Other paint and decorating products are not compatible with our high quality ceramic glazes we provide for your painting enjoyment.

NEVER COMBINE ACRYLIC PAINTS, OTHER PAINTS, SHARPIES, GLUES, OR OTHER MATERIALS WITH FIRED CERAMIC GLAZES. YOU WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR POTTERY IF YOU DO AND WE WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO REFUSE TO FIRE IT FOR SAFETY REASONS. ONLY CERAMIC GLAZES ARE MEANT TO BE FIRED IN A KILN. ART IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MISUSE OF OUR PRODUCTS.

Once you return your pottery for clear glaze and firing, it’s generally ready in 7 days for you to pick up. Stoneware pottery has it’s own firing schedule as these pieces are fired hotter than our regular bisque pottery. Turn around time is up to 2 weeks as we fire on a separate schedule about every 2 weeks. Please ask when you can expect it to be ready at the time you drop off. Either way, we will contact you when it’s ready for pick up.
